Singapore Airlines has been awarded by the Singapore’s Air Traffic Rights Committee (ATRC) the permit for 14 weekly flights to Tokyo Haneda Japan. Because of this award by the ATRC in Singapore, the Singapore Airline will launched twice daily flights next year between Singapore and Tokyo Haneda airport in October 2010. The new flights of Singapore Airlines in October 2010 is to complement the twice-daily Tokyo Nirita Services where one of the flights continues to Los Angeles USA.

In Tokyo Japan, the Nirita Airport is the main international airport that is serving international flights in Tokyo since 1978. Haneda Airport in Japan is now permitted to serve international services to and from Haneda after the completion of the fourth runway for next year operation.

The opening of the international service of the Haneda Airport will give Singapore Airlines’ customers a choice of good airport in Japan that suits their preference in their travel flight. As we all know that the Nirita Airport offers good connectivity with other international flights and a good accessibility by rail and road to other cities and prefectures outside the Tokyo metro area while the Haneda Airport has more domestic flight connections and is nearer Tokyo’s business districts.

The new flight routes of Singapore Airline will provide more accessible flights from Singapore to Japan. Business and tourism between Singapore and Japan is growing so fast, the new flights of the Singapore Airlines will cater this growth in demand. This will also boost travel and give convenience to the passengers of the Singapore Airlines that are traveling between Singapore and Japan.
