You can take in a cultural show that displays classical dance and music that the native people once performed. You can also visit the museum at the Villa Escudero, which has religious artifacts, silver altars, trade items from Spanish galleons, ceramics and dioramas and more.

Santuario de San Antonio

Here is one of the religious sites that you won’t want to miss. This old church, which replaced the original church in the area when it was destroyed in WWII, is very popular with the locals. The church is beautiful and is certainly worth a visit.

Coconut Palace

The Coconut Palace is an interesting building with and interesting history. The house, built of coconut wood and shells, was built in 1981 under the order of Imelda Marcos. The guesthouse was meant to house Pope John Paul II when he visited. Strangely enough, he opted not to stay there because it was too opulent.

Binondo

Binondo is the Chinatown of Manila, which makes it a very interesting place to visit when you come to town. You can see a variety of things in the historic village, including Buddhist temples and great shops. You will also be able to find quite a few great restaurants there as well.
