The Islands of Sipadan is one of the world’s top dive destinations with world class beaches. Sipadan Island is also named as “The Best Shore Dives in the World”. The island of Sipadan was once declared as a bird sanctuary that it gives natural attraction to tourist and visitors. There are 47 known species of that can be found in Sipadan Island.

Since Sipadan Island is famous for its diving spots, this island is the home of Barracudas, Jacks and Hammerhead sharks that is patrolling the waters. The island is also rich in multi-colored reef fish. Divers and adventurers can also experience dozens of sea turtles swimming peacefully everywhere.

Sipadan Island is an island that is surrounded by white sand beaches and turquoise-blue sea. This island is 12 hectares and is jungle-covered and was formed by living corals growing on top of an extinct undersea volcano. With its surrounding coral reef the island rises in form of a slim rocky needle 600m from the seabed. The island has spectacular amazing beaches that tourist and visitors should not miss out.

During low tide you can easily walk around the island for half an hour and only part of the beach near the Pulau Sipadan Resort is suitable for snorkeling, diving and swimming and you can only see the the corals of the atoll. During high tide the whole atoll offers excellent snorkeling and swimming opportunities.
